  • I was so fascinated by this that I watched it over and over. I had my dad make me a rectangle loom! What did you do with your fabric or did you use it as an afgan or shawl? I have used a triangle loom a lot and this is similar. Who thought of this? Must have been an engineer!

  • Thanks for your interest! I've used the fabric as a table runner, a shawl, and most recently I sewed a rectangle and a tri together and made a shawl with a hood. It came out really, really cool. It's still in the prototype stage, but I'll be posting a preview of it soon!

  • I recently purchased a rectangular modular loom in the same 1 to 3 dimensions (though mine is much smaller). This video has helped me get started weaving. Thank you.

Now I need a little help ending. The last pass is always wonky for me. If you are contemplating more videos, would you mind adding the last pass to your program?

Again, thanks for clearing up how to start.

  • Hi, I'm glad my little video helped you! I have not found a perfect ending on my rectangle. I finally settled on having to double up on some pins at the very end when I run a single strand for the last pass to lock it all in. I ordered a new loom and was waiting until it arrives to do a new video. Hopefully that will be soon!
