  • @Xaymaicana Thank you for enlightening me, i must say, i had no knowledge of this information. I know of Ghana and Nigeria being connected to Jamaica, and although semi illiterate slave traders kept no notes of were they were taking Africans from and to which part of the the planet, it just never occurred to me that there was also an Angolan presence in Jamaica!!! I guess it now makes sense why i got so much love for my Jamaican brethren! I am Angolan, born and raised. God bless you, always.

    Well i'm not sure, but i know a lot of slaves where transported from Angola to the Caribbean. I'm from Surinam and i know my roots went from Angola trough Martinique to Surinam.
