Hi Everyone,

I decided to do a test on two of the foundation primers that I use. The Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Foundation Primer and Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer. In my opinion they are both excellent products with excellent staying power. They work equally the same. I wore them both for more than eleven hours..... No touch ups on the face area just my under eye area. You know to keep my eyeliner and mascara looking fierce. Now there is a difference in the texture of the primers. The Revlon has a silky smooth texture where as the Rimmel a more liquid texture. Both primers apply smoothly, absorb and dry fast to the touch. So if youre looking for a superb foundation primer for a reasonable price then one of these would be a great option.

Products used:

Face:

Foundation Primer: Rimmel Fix & Perfect Foundation Primer (left side) and Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer (right side)
Foundation: M.A.C Studio Stick in NW40, M.A.C Studio Fix in NC50, and M.A.C. Blot Powder in Dark.

Cheeks:

M.A.C Mineralize Skin Finish in Dark/Natural and Shimmer

Lips:

Wet n Wild eyeliner in Bronze (lip liner)
M.A.C Lip Stick in Fresh Brew
M.A.C Lip Glass in Oh Baby

Eyes:

Maybelline Mascara in Very Black
M.A.C Eye Kohl in Smolder

Thanks for watching,

Lovely

  • Hello, I would like to thank you for helping me learn more about the revlon primer. Now I do have a question, I would like to ask what number is your Rimmel London Fix and Perfect. Because you and I have about the same skin color.

Thank you, God bless you and yours, and have a positive day.

Also please if you get time I like to invite you to come and visit my shop at dimensionalvision.etsy.com

  • @MsCreativeLady

    I believe it's a number 002..the darkest tinted shade.

  • if you get mac full coverage in orange and mix it with your concealer with a damp sponge or brush the orange will constrast the dark (blue hue) under your eyes....it that should help! love your videos!

  • @ShaeBeezy

  • I had just found out about this product and took to YT looking for someone using it (someone african american) and came across this video. Thank-you so much for posting it. I'm going to check out the Revlon one too. I hope it works for my oily skin. Bye:)

  • Thanks for sharing this with us. I have the Rimmel, and just purchased the Revlon primer today since I've read nothing but good reviews on it AND Revlon products were on sale, that always helps.
