The description of the political spectrum in this video is utter garbage. If the farthest left is 100% total government control, where does anarchy (Libertarian Socialism) and other forms of communism and socialism that feature no government fit in?
Nazism and fascism contain features that sit on both the left and right of the political spectrum.

This is an extremely conservative viewpoint masquerading as a non-biased, "explanation." This type of deception is the core of "conservatism," and without it, it would be impossible to convince large numbers of people to support such terrible and unjust policies.

The political spectrum is more like a two-dimensional plot than a line. Today's right-wingers are socially totalitarian and economically laissez-faire, and today's left-wingers are socially laissez-faire and economically totalitarian. Both sides are confused.
