Is this guy serious? How the heck can you drive around single handed holding a cup of coffee (I guess its coffee) and go on and on about the dash? There is an upgrade kit for the dash, shift and lighting control in Nappa stiched leather that looks superb. End of.

Saab was going to put a better dash board in where the smooth flat black panel is now in its place, but due to a falling out and shortage of parts they were not able to get the originally planned dash into the 9-5 which would infact look a lot better. Go look at the 9-5 pre-production car videos here on youtube or google it and the interior one had a texture and was going to be soft material. Hirsch performance (A Saab performance company) has an leather dash to put in if you should wish.

Can this review be any more cynical yet totally anecdotal? I suspect not. We have a 2011 95 sedan and it is a great car. We received a great deal for our money with plenty of incentives by the dealer. The value far exceeds the competition.

"the type font looks old" oh please... that is intentional. saab is maintaining its traditional aircraft legacy and to me the green type font fits well into the night navigation mode unique to all saabs.
