  • I have a problem where even when not locked it goes off. There is no shut off switch! My neighbors complain when I am walking from down staires carrying it back upstares. I have to place it on my bed under a HUGE stack of pillows to keep it quet! I can't take it with me as I am moveing in transition setting the alarm off all the way to my destination with an alrme going off as though I stole my own bike! Is there an alarm that I can have not go off when it is in the unlocked position?

  • @LONGISLANDHAWAIIAN Read the full webBikeWorld review. There's a trick to cleaning the lock to help prevent false alarms.

  • yeah now if some dude in a neighboorhood full of mtv,atv etc. and find out who has this lock they could push tht button and dismantel it bam easey theift

  • I'm not sure what you mean, there is no button to push, it is a heavy-duty lock that needs a key to open.

  • thank you wbwvids!

  • @ExplicLyrics15 some dude has a universal zena key?? that is whack!

  • @ExplicLyrics15 it can only be changed when unlocked

  • I found out about this alarm after posting a video of me and my bike after I custom installed a 12v adapter. An ad on the side showed up on facebook. So I went to the official site which is packed with great info, too much info though because it's cluttered and I can't find a way to buy it and see where they sell it and for how much. I am interested in the newest 120db model.

  • Ive got this lock but the new model, it was a bit tricky to insert the battery but once installed that was it. Its been 7 months and no problems at all. Even saved my bike!

    The alarm is loud.

  • I have an Xena XR1 (old version)

    It's awesome.

I've had it over 8 months and the original batteries are still going strong.

It has also been under all sorts of crappy weather and still no sign of failing.

  • @ferthelet, I have NOT had ANY problems with false alarms (other than at battery change).

My understanding is that the false alarm problem happens with previous older models, e.g. that use the small watch batteries
