America has always had a limited non-socialist government and that is should not change.

The Gadsden Flag stands for what America came to existance.

I can't stand that anarchists try to use this symbol of patriotic values as a symbol of anarchy.

I find anarchy to be a naive political belief. People imagine no government and they think it is freedom. This is not the case. Look at Somalia. Anarchy is the freedom of the strongest and most-well armed to oppress the weak.

As Americans, we shouldn't even consider it an option. This country is a Constitutional Republic. Period.

I became a citizen of the United States of America about a year ago. As a sign of my allegiance and pride in such, I had the Gadsen tattooed on my arm. I am proud to be and call myself an American.

The tea party movement fly's the Gadsden flag? Why?

Is having the government tell a women what she can and can't do with her body Freedom?

Is having the government tell Americans who they can and can't marry Liberty?

Don't get me wrong, I don't think liberals should take the Gadsden as their own either or old glory for that matter.

I proudly fly the Gadsden flag I'm not a liberal and not a conservative, but an American. It's is stupid when ANY political party/movement try's to take the Gadsden especially conservatives. The Gadsden stands for Freedom, Liberty and gives a message of warning to those who dare to infringe upon it.

@SemperServiam you really think this country is a Constitutional Republic? Ever heard of the PATRIOT act? That was the gateway to all the new legislation which oppresses, at the very least, our right to free speech. When people are getting pulled over in Missouri for displaying the gadsden flag and for no other reason, other than that it is now seen as "terrorist" involvement, you know we've already begun to have our Constitutional freedoms denied to us.

I have no problem with anarchists because i beleive this country and world would be much better off without or at least a very limited presence of governments. Governments are the roots of war, oppression, etc. basically the biggest taker of human life in the histoy of mankind. I myself am a traditionalist libertarian, i dont beleive in absolutely no gov't. I beleive in a extremely limited decentralized gov't, that only provides a small defense military along with militias and a court system.
