  • You can get pure aluminum powder in a Etch-E-Sketch...

  • Sadly this is a little faked, in truth there was not any gas in the tank, the pyrotechnics were under it. if that had been a full or even partially full tank the explosion would have been much more energetic and unpredictable. if you look at the video you will see the explosions coming out from either side under the tank. There is the question however if anything would actually happen, the tank is curved and could allow the thermite to roll off the sides. since we never actually see the hole

  • BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!

  • new type of nuke lol

  • sparklers also work for igniting thermite

  • That was...*puts on glasses* hot. YEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

  • the ratio of thermite is 3 grams aluminum powder to 8 grams iron oxide for an explosive thermite use copper oxcide and to ignite use sparklers magnesium strip or use a blowtorch just dont blowtorch the copper thermite it will kill you

  • @bennytyty Both powders are easily gotten in a metalworking shop. Just put a bucket under the grinder and grind aluminium and iron (though you're more likely to have steel). Then just put some concentrated acid on the iron to oxidize it. Dry it out, mix it together (though I don't know the ratio), put in a magnesium strip. Find a way to burn magnesium from a distance, and do so. Boom.

  • Pyros.. eat your hearts out

  • Nothing quite like a thermite-induced, propane-fueled explosion to wake you up in the morning!

  • They are always polluting the air=.=
