Having tried a variety of mudguards there is only one brand for me - Phillips clips on ones. I (mainly) have roadbikes and do a lot of training / racing (my race bike doesn't have guards) in the Winter here in NZ (our club race season is through the winter) so I know what is needed in rainy weather. The new Crudcatchers are really good too.
