I think this was my patient. Seven year old MVA with ejection out of Elberta, trauma arrest. Got em back but he died 8 days later,,,

I'm a helicopter pilot and I still can't figure out why he didn't put down ON the helipad.... which is the blue & white square behind the aircraft.

it is my understanding that USA Medical Center has requested that the first helicopter in land on the service pad which leaves the main pad open for a second helicopter to land. I had to ask the same question when i saw that they were landing on the service pad.
