Yes, the end is really frustrating, and the levels are really long in fact, it's not optimised for portable games. I never beat the last boss. I never used the trick of leveling projectiles so I guess it's easier with the bombs to beat him. I agree, it's a great game, even with its issues, but overall it's one of the more pilished old school game I played one a recent system. Too bad if it didn't sell well, if only they added an easy mode, maybe... Anyway, glad you enjoyed it.

@XxRelmxX Yeah, it was two years ago and I purchased it about two weeks after I left the comment and beat it in about a week :)
It was a great game but as it didn't sell there probably won't be a sequel. Shame how those things go.
It was cheap tough at the end though. I beat it but some areas where kind of hard in the unfair way.

@Hamhark98 (and sorry for the late response....)
-
It's not unfair, it's just pretty hard. If you used to old school games you should play it, it's one of the unknown gems of the DS, a very good game, original but in a good way, very polished. Now, it's very cheap on ebay.

thankyou for this. this is where i'm stuck.

Unfortunately the main people that were behind HH left EA and formed Dreamrift, an indie developer. Unfortunate because EA still owns the Hatsworth IP.
This game did get a technical "sequel" (and I use that term loosely). It's a little DS game called Monster Tale. It's made by the same dudes and it's gameplay is pretty similar to Hatsworth. Minus the Puzzle elements. You should check it out if you get the chance.

I am now going to buy this game

this game looks interesting
first gameplay i ever seen on it
-
"What the Dickens is this?" Yep that describes the game perfectly. I mean, wedding-woman, an opera singer and a deaf captain plus nurse-gorilla as bosses? This game is such a gem, really. The above saying deserves to be a meme.

@forteDSX When the creator left with the rights? >.<
-
@deviant3232 Me too! Lol that was my first thought when I heard it.
-
All that coughing and yoo hoo's make me want to buy the game. It cracked me up alot. I can't believe they did that, but it feels like it was for comic effect, and boy does it work. :]
-
@deviant3232 seriously. And her "three pack a day voice"
-
@Magitek111 i think its Death
-
Wow this looks an AWESOME game! I'll definitely have a try at this game sometime!
-
What does the D stand for, anyway?
-
Coolest first boss ever.
-
It would be so funny if Lady D turned out to be some kind of Harvey Fierstein-type dude!
-
It's early 90's platformer tough. Five Worlds with five main bosses, as well as some recurring bosses in between levels. It's cheap right now, so worth the money.
-
How long is the game? And how many bosses in total? I heard it gets tough but is it cheap tough or contra tough? Cause I can beat contra tough but nobody can beat cheap tough without luck.
-
Oh my fucking god...
I need this game..
-
it would be so funny if lady D was a really pretty girl with a voice changer under that veil
The "Yoo-Hoo" makes me think of Dr. Girlfriend from Venture Brothers... This game is awesome
