  • I love Scarborough, it has been a while since I last went, 10 years aprox.

Are all the rides still there at the left side of the beach?

  • Gosh, I visited two years ago and I can't remember--probably because I didn't even think to go on any rides. I spent a lot of time at the castle, though.

  • incidentley the song (scarborough fayre as no relevence with scarborough town

  • You're correct. But I thought the music kind of fit with the photos.

  • Sorry you feel that way, Missy. I fail to see how a sampling from one of my favorite groups can possibly say anything negative about the city. Oh well, I guess there's no accounting for taste.

  • Great video. I went earlier this week (Dec 2011) for one day. Most things were closed and it was really cold but I still enjoyed it. Have a look at my vid.

  • I live in Scarborough iys nothing to scream about but its a nice place to live :) well except the chavs :/

  • @BennettTheMachine Yeah, you got that right I just play pool.

  • as someone who lives in scarborough i see it different to everyone else.. it is a nice looking town but virtually nothing to do..

  • I think it's a shithole.

  • I love Scarborough! I was there on holiday last summer... I hope I'll go back there soon.

  • @gary36uk What do you mean, the song, 'Scarborough Fair' has no relevance to Scarborough town. If you mean Scarborough in Yorkshire, it certainly does. Modern versions are derived from an old folk song about this same Scarborough. Not only that but the 'fair' or 'fayre', which was essentially a market, is still held in the main street - though it is nothing to its former glory. People come over from France and other parts of Europe to sell their wares - a bit expensive, tho'.

  • who else has the last name scarborough like me / i would be cool to see how many their are

  • They may have got knocked about that much by family etc all their lifes that they don't have the energy anymore to go on with Jobs. You ever thought of that.
