No we're not fine. Actually, as climate change accelerates, weather will be more erratic, including some colder and more intense winters. Over time, the trend will be toward warmer winters, but along the way, there will be turbulence.

In 1970, when environmentalists were making predictions of man made global cooling and the threat of an ice age, what kind of government policy should we have undertaken to prevent such a calamity?

When Ehrlich predicted that England would not exist in the year 2000, what steps should the British Parliament have taken in 1970 to prevent such a dire outcome?

Finally, what makes us think that environmental alarmism is any more correct today than yesterday?

You need to investigate H.A.A.R.P. and see how our government is shooting ELF waves & causing earthquakes all over the world. Pakistan, China, Haiti, Chile, & now Mexico. @QMaxQMaxQ Where do you people get this crazy stuff? Would ya mind backing yourself up with EVIDENCE? You need to google search "Solar cycle 24" which has almost zero sunspots, this causes increased cloud formation resulting in reflecting the sun's energy back towards the sun and causes the Earth to cool. We have been in a cooling phase for 11 years! Where have you been buddy? Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

@mkmason2002 in my comment im not really saying its real. im saying that first of all, its not man made. second of all, everything and anything happening is natural, humans have no true affect on the air and such. im not saying we need to spend any money AT ALL on "global warming". that would be a complete waste of money and a pointless waste of money.

@planepirate Global warming is a complete hoax! FOLLOW THE MONEY! This is all about the UN's Kyoto Treaty. It's world tax which China, India & Russia refuse to join so the majority of the money would come from, you guessed it, the USA suckers! We have been in an 11 yr. global cooling trend. Check out solar cycle 24, no sunspots means more clouds, which means heat is reflected back to the sun.
