I knew the basics of knitting but for years crocheted. I am introducing myself back into knitting. Love the experience but find it funny that in knitting you come across several stitches that require a crochet hook, but I do not recall ever finding a crochet pattern that says grab a knitting needle. Some people are so stuck on knitting and think that it is almost a sin to crochet. Maybe they need to re-evaluate their thinking, without the ole crochet hook where would they be? lol

One question. What size crochet hook should a person use (in comparison to the size of the knitting needles)?  Same size or smaller hook?
