I produced this story for Al Jazeera. After months of bidding, we were finally granted interview with Roberto Saviano, the "Italian Salman Rushdie" who was forced to go into hiding and live under police protection after exposing the business empire of the Camorra, the neapolitan mafia, in his bestselling book "Gomorrah". We also visited the neighbourhood of Scampia, the Camorra stronghold in the outskirts of Naples, and secretly filmed the open-air drug dealing activity it is famous for. Nazanine Moshiri reports.
