Macworld Video: A farewell to iCards

There was plenty of news coming out of this week's Worldwide Developer Conference, from new iPhones to future OS X updates. But in this video, we've decided to pay tribute to an Apple offering that's about to disappear.

Bring back iCards! I hate supporting Hallmark Cards with my hard earned money that is better saved up towards new Macs!

Apple's decision to axe iCards is a disgrace! Be sure to tell Apple how you feel about its decision via Apple's Feedback form. There are a couple of petitions online, too.

I've made my feelings known to Steve (with an iCard) about this heartless decision, especially since there is nothing comparable to iCards anywhere online. You'll find the image of my iCard on my Flickr page.

it wasnt for the iphone it was for .mac and now that mobile me has taken that over i guesse they wont do icards anymore and do something else ???!?!?!?? who knows

Why did they have to get rid of the iCard I wonder. They could have expanded on it where you could send an iCard via iPhone. That would have been great. That way you can always keep up with birthdays, greetings, and more on-the-go.
