make sure you plug it into the same usb port that u originally used

Are you using a mac or pc? You can send the crash log to serato.com help forum. If you using a PC does the device show in the device manager. It will show as a unknown device. It sound like a driver conflict.

When me did DJ in a de Yard in 72 we never have no VCI-300 we us two flat Bammy and spin de 78's pon dat wid sowin needle and two coconuts fee speakers, bwoy unu have it heasy today.

This is anormal. Send back the unit and get a new one. I have no problems with my unit.
