Thats an awefull thing to say Mikezzz54...RIP are you hoping that I die? Someone that you don't even know. I was simply regarding what was happening on this video and know you've even brought mountains into the equation. Sorry if I offeneded you have a nice day.
@Mikezzz54 oh really. I'm living in such land and i'm parking my car in a garden next to my home. It isn't flat. Somehow i can drive to and from my office every day and my garden doesn't look like plowed field. But often "big city" guests plows it hardly what makes me angry.
I'm not talking about climbing up - this you probably can't with FWD. But how can he slip on flat grassy field? The driver is totally disabled and must tearn how to drive any car on grass.
will000089, cefaloid - oh really? just can't wait to see your video reply showing how you, a real driver deals with that. Just don't forget to "floor it down" on a mountain trip. Rest in peace - and your car with you...
@will000089 totally agree. Here we have dry terrain and dry grass. Experienced driver can do it better with FWD car than this disabled guy using AWD. I cannot see any difficulties here and i did it many times with FWD car. Go there after snow ot at least heavy rain and do it again. Of course with AWD it is easy (i know, i have had one 4motion car) but, i think, the driver will stock immediately, based on what he showed to us.
It's great car, but I don't understand why they did not include electronic diff lock. It not meant for hard off-road, but it would help if you get stuck on a grass or in the mud somewhere. I guess cars like Opel Antara, Hunday, Nissan - they all get the diff lock. I guess it is just a matter of "software" in AWD to use brakes to stop the wheel that starts spinning.
I think the CX-7 is a city car in design. AWD options and higher clearance are beneficial for people who live in locations where they experience lots of rain and snow; but I don't believe in design they put effort in making a competent offroad vehicle.
Now you can tell that that CUV is not made for off roading because it gets stuck on a little hill of grass my bentley can do a better job but i guess they tried.

@Mikezzz54 hahahahahaha... stuck on a grass inside dry, relatively flat terrain?
All of u are disabled like this driver? You can attend a few driving lessons and yo will perform it better with front wheel drive car.
But to do it you must use software in your brain not in your car "to stop the wheel that starts spinning. "
