Sun City hunting island ride 2-23-10-2

Five members a the Sun City Cyclers Hilton Head set out from Beaufort SC to Hunting Island State Park. Route 21 has been recently paved with a wide shoulder that provides a safe route to Hunting Island State Park. Touring through the park we found beach erosion has invaded the south side of the park, sweeping away trees and homes. The park has one of the finest beaches in the Low Country. We found a great place to have lunch on Route 21, a place called "The Shrimp Shack". After leaving the Shrimp Shack we completed the ride back to the Low Country Bicycle Shop.
