Please delete, set to private or rename this video not to reflect Angeles Crest Highway. The media and CHP are using youtube videos as ammunition to clamp down on bikers up Angeles Crest. We want the CHP to back off and videos like this don't help. Thanks!

There are people that ride responsibly and those that don't. Just because CHP "might" be reviewing our videos won't change how some of us ride. After ACH reopened, within 3 months there were 4 fatalities. But 3 of the fatalities were in cars and only one was a motorcycle. Plus, one the fatalities was a suicide! I feel that the CHP's are a welcome presence at ACH because they will rescue the fallen ASAP. If there were no CHP's around ACH, you better pray that someone hears you when you're down.

how fast where u all riding? just a question... I ride 2nd & 3rd. is it bad to ride 2nd for a long time... I like to use the engine brake. I'm usually at 8-9000 rpm

Anywhere from 60-130 on the corners. It really depends. As for the engine braking, personally, I use it in the corners before the apex but as soon as I 'm in the lean, I'm on the throttle.
Engine speed depends on the size of the bike.
Are you riding a 600 / 750 / 1000?
600's maybe at a higher rpm.
1000's maybe at a lower rpm.
I'll stay at a high rpm near the red line on a track but on the canyons? NO WAY! I don't want to high side on canyon roads that I know for sure that dust all over it.

what happened to the sound near the end? never the less, very nice video! 9 mile stretch. you guys are too fast. are you gonna put up the vid from the beginning of ACH?
