A FEW PRODUCTION NOTES (2 of 2)
The music is an acoustic piece by folk noir musician Elisabeth Blair titled "Duck Duck Goose." It is stirring and evocative, and I thought it would be a perfect selection for this clip that focuses on Flint's history.Emily Perkins-Harbin played Meredith Malady and additional help was provided by Amber Staab.

A FEW PRODUCTION NOTES (1 of 2)
Sam Perkins-Harbin shot both the footage at the Good Beans Cafe and around Flint. This footage is not fully representational of Flint. Most shots are from the East Side, the East Village, Downtown, and Carriage Town, where much of the novel is set. Since Good Beans owner Ken is mentioned (though not by name) in the novel, he graciously agreed to make a cameo in this video, and his performance is superb!
