Mrs.Jonas: (She took a sip out of her coffee) It really is great to finally see you again Selena.
Selena: (She smiled) It's great to see you too, Denise. Despite all the drama that's going on.
Mrs.Jonas: That's what I wanted to talk to you about. How are you with everything?
Selena: (She sighed) I'm hanging in there.
Mrs.Jonas: I hope you didn't take it too hard when I told Kevin and Joe to make sure you didn't go to Jersey..
Selena: No, not at all. I understood when they said that Nick asked you to do that.
Mrs.Jonas: I didn't want to, but he's my son. You know you've always been like a daughter to me, but when I saw how badly he wanted me to do that for him, I couldn't deny him.
Selena: Really, don't feel bad. I totally understand. If I went over there, I wouldn't even know what to say to him.
Mrs.Jonas: How'd you feel when you saw him just a few minutes ago?
Selena: Honestly, I wanted to run into his arms and never let go of him. I wanted him to hold onto me tightly and tell me that everything was gonna be okay. But I know I couldn't do that. I have to respect his wishes, no matter how hard.. how hard it hurts.
Mrs.Jonas: (She placed her hand over Selena's) Oh honey, you care for him so much and thank you for that. I want you to know that he cares about you too, more than you could ever imagine.
Selena: (He felt her eyes becoming teary) Thank you. It's just.. I never thought it would be this difficult being away from him. And it's not like when you guys would take your family vacations and leave for a few weeks because he would still keep in touch with me. When I'm with him he makes me feel... happy, and giddy. He makes me feel so loved, and like the luckiest woman in the world. But not anymore. I'm always sad, and bleh. I don't know, I don't even know how to put it all into words for you.
Mrs.Jonas: (She smiled) You love him.
Selena: (Her heart stopped) What?
Mrs.Jonas: That feeling, that you feel for him that you can't describe; It's called love. You're in love with Nick, Selena.

After hearing Mrs.Jonas say that, it all clicked to her. For the first time ever, she could actually admit to herself that she's been feeling is love. She loves him. She was in love with Nick. She was in love with her best friend.
