Population size 10 for 12145 generations. The first 1300 generation had fitness = net upward movement divided by body size. Beyond generation 1300 fitness = net upward movement.
This is still the original version of 3DVCE and not the updated one. The updated one is still a work in progress.

  • Amazing

  • @DownUnderDoug Thanks! This is one of my favorites :)

  • when i press go in evolution it just shows a red box that doesn't move

  • @videonfan Uh oh. The infamous red block. I know exactly what you're talking about. It usually means there's a file or folder that's missing or corrupted. Here's what you can do...

    Load your evolution

Use "browse history" to see how far back you have to go before the creatures load properly (try to find a generation right before the problem started)

Quit 3DVCE, open your .evolution file with notepad, and change the 2nd number in the file to that generation number.

  • Alternatively, send me your .evolution and the accompanying folder. I could try to fix it.

  • if i get this and learn to makes games i will use creatures i make in this program in my game :D

  • @videonfan That's a pretty interesting idea!
