That is a thing though, Batman . . . Bruce Wayne is not caught between three worlds he cannot understand. Superman is in part defined by an intense lonlieness.

Although he was brought up on earth, he is not human . . . and never will be, but he is also being forcedto uphold the legacy of a world he doesnt truely understand . . . and the fact that his connection to that world, has nothing to do with his powers . . . his alien heritage provides no comfort or understanding for them.

Superman = Clark Cent

Bruce Wayne = Batman

Superman, the son of Krypton. Superman is Clark Cent's alter ego. The fake face put on knowing Earth needs him. He was raised human and holds onto this. It's why he to chooses to protect us, not rule us. At heart Superman is Clark, not Kal-El

Bruce Wayne is the fake face put on by Batman because Bruce Wayne died with his parents. There is only Batman. He knows society will never accept him as he is.

Superman is not hard to understand! Nor is he the invincible god peopel think he is. And he has plenty to be sad about, the loss of a homeworld, his lack of connection to it . . .the dangers of his life, the fact taht he can never save everyone.

and the fact . . . that the world will not always need superman. At his core he is an alien taht has grasped onto humanity as his symbol, like batman . . . but with humans instead of bats.

that is how I get people to understand.
