3 weeks into training a hen sharp shinned hawk. The basis of what I am trying to accomplish here is of couse to get the Hawk to catch the pigeon. But more important this early in training is to NOT have the hawk attempt to either fly away or to try and "Carry" off with the pigeon or lure. If she doesn't try and fly away and hide her catch from me and accepts my trade off of the lure full of meat and doesn't try and fly off with the lure, then the session is a success. Also, I want to build her confidence in catching pigeons by not giving her a bad experience with one. So this little pigeon worked excellent.

  • @noalmaltrato1000 You always spam in falconry/hunting/some kind of natural hunting by other animals/ and you liked porn...And you....you always say "this is animal abuse your mother f maybe your mother is next"

  • And btw FALCONRY (Fal-Kon-hry) is a sport to balance invasive species!! like the pigeon for example...

  • @noalmaltrato1000 This is for food and against pests. And the Pigeon is a introduced invasive species and known to damage habitat native diurnal/nocturnal raptors like sharp shinned hawks could balance the invasive pigeon! and you.....Your such a vegetarian.....also why are you watching this video anyways!!

  • you are abusing animals i hope you and you bird died you m f

  • @ParisLoOfficialTV So does the raptors and bird of prey.

  • why cant you get the hood off. that is sick. you just let the bird go infront of the hawk, this is not falconry.i am a prefalconer and from what i know this is not liked by the falconry community.

  • @ParisLoOfficialTV hahaha. do you cry when rats are fed to pet reptiles too?

  • Never knew you could use pigeons to train shortwings.

  • I don't agree with him posting this video but adult raptors will catch pray ,hinder and give them to the young in order to teach the offspring how to hunt as he did.

  • This is why some people are so against falconry, its giving the sport a really bad name.
