The "REASON" they needed a 32% increase, since last year, is that 92% of the professors in the UC system will retire with $100K + full medical FOR LIFE!

But you won't see one student standing up and asking them, why so much?

These kids have never experienced paying 1/3+ of their income into taxes so some ungrateful snob can protest how much their education costs them!

If they could, they'd know California Teachers are the highest pain in the nation, the middle class are some of the highest taxed in the nation ...

I was there. I got drenched in mace and watched as everyone else did AND got beaten. This was NOT an aggressive protest UNTIL we started getting maced and beaten. We were beaten, maced and arrested without ANY warning WHATSOEVER. It should not be justified.
