what with stone stone lives but is too intelligent to show he is intelligent so he shuts up and doesnt get bothered he got balls outta steel!

Maybe you should more clearly define "superiority" instead of running left and right trying to debunk ideas.

Imagine all the creatures living life in peace...
But which animal would imagine peace with other species? Which animal, at the current stage of evolution, would be able to enforce such peace?
Do you know any dolphin who chose to become an activist?
Or any gorilla who proposed equal gender rights?
A lion that convinced his tribe to become vegetarian?

Though many animals have proven to be intelligent (namely dolphins and primates), humans do posses a greater intelligence and understanding. I have met people less intelligent than crows, but I have also met rocket scientists and chess grandmasters. We can breach the atmosphere, create huge machines that collide atoms, investigate quantum theory and even just write books; It's our intelligence that allows us to build and use such technologies.
-
@edukee It takes trial and error to create good technology too, but I completely agree with both of your points. Every species has its own advantages and disadvantages. And those idiots...will probably always be idiots.
-
@canidaechiroptera we did not find technology waiting for us to be used ... we created it using our "brains" which is the unique ability of humans, just like every other animal has its own abilities.
though I gotta say, only few humans deserve to be praised for their brains while most others are complete idiots who does not deserve to be alive, for example those fkn hunters who hunt for fun to feel powerful while they're actually just using tools made by superior people.
-
@edukee You're only counting technology. Naturally, humans can't do all of those things.

human ARE the superior creatures on this planet.
we can move faster than all other creatures
we can fly higher and insanely faster
we can breath and swim under water faster
we can (easily) kill anything we want without having claws, teeth, poison .. etc
we can see even farther than the galaxy
we can hear sounds on the other side of earth or even in outer space
Hell we can even make a mind that can think and take decisions on it's own and count better and faster than us.

Come on... I always like to show that we ARE animals, and that our morality is a primate morality (more specifically an ape morality), and that whatever it is we have, we can find in other animals. BUT this is stupid. Of course we have objective ways to determine that we're smarter. We see them trying to solve problems, or to avoid danger, and they do fail even when it's in their best interest not to. We watch them die when more intelligence could have saved them.
Wow. How the humans bitch. They sound like chimps before a rumble. It's amazing how personally some folks take it when you suggest that 'homo sapiens' might be a misnomer. As if they're spokespeople for the whole race. God help us if they are. Some of them can't write simple English. BTW, the word "sapient" is defined as "Wise, or attempting to appear wise". I guess in that sense we ARE different from animals. They don't bother trying to appear wise. Nothing to prove, I guess. Good video.

@05khanha Again, you missed the point AND got the facts wrong. Lots of other species have figured out our mode of communication.
I don't need to compare nest building to building space ships. The point was that humans, for millennia, have told their children that humans are the ONLY animal that uses tools. They were wrong.
The fact that you keep trying to assign a hierarchy to living beings with humans on the top also reinforces the point I was making in the video.
