  • Similar to a track also called magic fly, by space. This is not as good

  • funny, I always preferred the space version also, but this is the original and more sought after...

  • I've got the French Import of this song, if by French you mean Quebec, CANADA, where the song was recorded for Disques Direction Records in '77.

As for the group's name Kebekelektrik, when sylabolized, it comes from the two words KEBEK (Quebec) & Elektrik (Electric). When "Quebec" is said in French, it's pronounced Key-Beck - hence the name.

George Cucuzella, the ower of UNIDISC RECORDS in Quebec, Canada, is credited for this mix. Tony Green was France Joli's producer & both are Canadian.

  • Who has the French import version of this song?

  • nice song if it wasnt preceeded by magicfly

  • THANK YOU .....CLASSIC

  • Wow this is interesting. I have heard the the newer version of this. While it is interesting t0 hear what may be the original I like the newer version better. The one by space that I guess is mistakenly credited to Robert Miles.

  • beautiful galactic, space, cosmic space disco, love it

  • I like Kebekelektrik's version of Magic Fly better than Space. This version has much more power and energy. It does not sound like a magic fly to me, I would say it sounds like a scream, warning, or SOS. Kind of troublesome.

  • The 45 of this was released on the Miami (TK) distributed Clouds label in 1977. As far as I know the Space version came first.

  • @emanboogie - the track was written by Didier Marouani (AKA Ecama) who formed the group Space and released this track. This is why I always thought that the Space version was the original, but perhaps not?

  • This used to sound so good at "The Lost and Found" in DC!!!
