I just loved the approach to Tatanagar - on a curve with appreciable height difference between the Up and Dn lines. After passing some elegant-looking WAM4s and WAG7s, we pulled into the station. So, after an impressive 81.08 kmph run (250 km in 3 hrs. 5 mts.), we made our first technical halt of the journey. The train had simply bludgeoned through the Kharagpur-Tata section in 1 hr. 26 mts. (average speed of 93.49 kmph)!

  • @vb642: Yeah! I am from Tatanagar but have been in south since 1986. But I do visit my native for a long holiday once every year! That';s how my fondness for Indian Railways grew, due to the long train journeys from a very young age:)

  • @arzan1980 Thanks!

  • Very nice capture
