USS LST 325 @ Aurora Bend

The USS LST 325 rounds the bend in Aurora, Indiana on September 16, 2010. After stopping in Pittsburgh and Marietta, it is heading home to Evansville, Indiana. The Mayflies are out again as you can see.

This ship will visit Aurora in 2011 and will be open for visitors and public tours throughout its stay. The ship will visit Aurora September 22-27, with public tours tentatively scheduled for Sept. 24, 25 and 26.

Thanks dajabro. I just happen to be following it on their GPS that day and seen that they were coming down river, so I got my camera ready.

I have a short video from across the river as they were going up too if you would like to see but it was close to sunset then. It is on my channel list

Fantastic. I'm currently working on a project to dive and document LST 501 and 537, sunk in Lyme Bay, UK in 1944. This footage is really helpful!
