Preis ist natürlich ein großes manko an dieses gelbe biest, aber mir wäre schon wichtig die Osc zu verstimmen, was leider beim minibrute nicht machbar ist. Vorteil am Mini ist natürlich keine doppel belegung, günstiger und mehr CV optionen. Gut am Dave Smith ist die speicher funktion und die LFO optionen. Auf jedenfall will ich weg vom VA synth, der klingt mir nicht fett genug.

@coyote7620 Für meine Ohren klingt der Minibrute besser und hat den Hauptvorteil, daß sich die Wellenformen frei miteinander mixen lassen. Dazu kommen noch ein paar Merkmale wie eine analoge (!) Ultrasaw, Metalizer und Brute Factor Feedback was ähnlich klingen kann wie ein übersteuerndes Moog Filter. Nachteile: Weniger Tasten und kein Patch Memory, dafür ist die Kiste aber auch fast 200 euro günstiger.

@damondarkwalker Yep, sticking to the black keys is a nice way of getting neat pentatonic runs without the risk of hitting the wrong notes. Of course that's cheating, but what the heck...

Volka und der typ von Sonic Lab sind mit abstand die besten reviewer auf Youtube. Freu mich schon when die beiden den Minibrute in die hände bekommen, damit ich endlich weiß welcher analoger monosynth es sein darf.

Seriously Dave? Just for the record this keyboard sounds pretty decent but the knobs and buttons on a Toys "R" Us Casio keyboard are 10 times sturdier than this yellow turd. The demo model at my local Guitar Center is already broken in several places. Kind of a joke for the steep price.

@AlexisNembrode i tested in a store and it worked great, just needs line level input and there you go, i will soon own a tetra and maybe do a demo, i think i used the LFOs for the vocoding sound and it was always slightly detuned ;)

@Goth108 Are you sure the input can be used as a vocoder? I think it doesnt work that way...
