The Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute partnered with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the Conasauga River Alliance to remove silt from Colvard Spring in Murray County, Georgia. Dr. Anna George explains how this work was done to improve habitat to help save a tiny, colorful fish called the coldwater darter.
