I completely ignored 'Crease' in the first Sculptris video so in this session I am exploring it. I still rush in with adding details but not like the first time where I wasn't efficient with triangle count it got up to million-something though it didn't look like that much because added details where it can't be seen or unnecessary and so on.
This time I also used Flatten here and there (eg. for the bolts).

  • I feel like there were features cut out, like how are you adjusting the light source?

  • @crashcreatures in alpha version for light I pressed 'L' and left-click & drag - the shaders must be turned of, in version 1.01 (or Pixologic Sculptris Alpha5) press "i" and left-click & drag, the shaders must be disabled in config file too.

  • Graet tutoria!- thanks for all the hard work to save me some.

  • @combatives Thank you, I'm still very curiuos what Pixologic has for Sculptris future, It is great as it is but Pixologic always makes great better.

  • How do you move the lights in "sculpting" mode? The readme says you can only move lights in "paint" mode and that certainly seems to be the case.

  • @TheDenisTitov in alpha version for light I pressed 'L' and left-click & drag - the shaders must be turned of, in version 1.01 press "i" and left-click & drag, the shaders must be disabled in config file too.

  • @recreationday Sorry for late reply, in alpha version for light I pressed 'L' and left-click & drag - the shaders must be turned of, in version 1.01 (or Pixologic Sculptris Alpha5) press "i" and left-click & drag, the shaders must be disabled in config file too.

  • How do you do the lamp-thing? :(

  • @danielallen12 thanks, yes crease in Sulptris is something else than in other sculpting applications, I watched some Taron's videos as Tomas Pettersson (the creator of sculptris suggested) it makes sculpting more efficient.
