Great song and it only took me 3 days to memorize the song, which is to me is my quickest time for learning a song this difficult. My next cover will be "Caught Like a Fly," and I hope to do "Sink or Swim" and "Don't Mess With Ouija Boards. Hope you guys enjoy the video; I had so much fun with this song

1. What drum set do you use?

I use a Yamaha Dtxtreme III Special Edition drum set. My other hardware includes Pearl Demon Drive Double Kick Pedals and Direct Sound EX25 Isolation Headphones.

2. Between Yamaha and Roland, which set is better?

In all honesty is comes down to preference. The Yamaha set is better quality and far cheaper when compared to Roland sets. Some of the problems that I've heard about the Roland set compared to the Yamaha sets are that the Roland pads wear out and are too bouncy. As for durability, the Yamaha rubber and the new silicone pads are better overall than mesh pads. As stated before, it's your choice which set you buy. In my opinion though, after reading through countless articles, Yamaha drums are the best choice.

3. How do you record the videos and audio?

I use a Panasonic camera for the video recording. The audio is sent from the left and right outputs on the module to my computers microphone input jack. This is the cable I use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000068O3C . The program I use to record the audio is Sony Sound Forge Pro 10 and Sony Vegas Pro 10 to edit the video.

4. How do you get the song with no drum track?

This only works if songs you want to cover are on Rock Band. I will make a tutorial soon on how to do this. Until then, stay tuned.

5. Why do you hold the sticks that way?

I'm not sure. I've learned to play like that and in no way has it affected how I play. Playing matched grip hurts my hands because when playing in that form the hands absorb the shock of hitting the pads. The way I learned, it puts less pressure on the hand and makes it more flexible. Whatever works I guess...
