Spira International is the naval architecture website of Jeff Spira, a mechanical engineer, lifelong boat builder, boat designer, and boat captain, cruising, sailing and fishing offshore for over 40 years.
The Spira International website sells plans to build boats from 7' to over 30' of all varieties, including canoes, kayaks, row boats drift boats, sailing sharpies, dories, pacific power dories, Carolina dory skiffs, v-bottom boats, displacement cruisers, mullet skiffs, and McKenzie River drift boats.

@tjkid07 I don't agree with that statement. I've buit a kayak from CLC (not a kit just plans) and did it with handtools,nothing specialized,all basic handtools found in most ppl's sheds

CLC boats are a lot better

You're right - if you're a traditional craftsman with lots of specialized tools and don't mind investing lots and lots of time.
But if you're a regular Joe with some basic tools, moderate skills and want to get it in the water and having fun fairly quickly, these can't be beat.
