Lightsabre Rotoscoping in Gimp

Here is a short clip of a lightsabre that I made using rotoscoping in Gimp. Took me a good couple of hours just to make a 5 second clip, but I'm still pretty new to Gimp so I don't think that's too bad...I also edited in the sound effects using iMovie 09. how did you made the lightsaber effect using imovie09( I have that same program and I want to know how to do it)

@gamonstudios I think you misunderstood what I said in the description. I made the lightsaber effect in a free photo manipulation software called Gimp using a technique called rotoscoping which basically means that you go in frame by frame and edit the lightsaber onto each frame of the clip. I only used iMovie 09 to put in the sound effects because iMovie does not have a lightsaber effect and cannot support plugins. Hope that helps. =)
