I actually just got #50 about 3 days ago, so I can relate. SUCH a fun hobby!

Nice, congrats....the one you found at ~28 seconds (the small one) reminded me of one i found really similar in size to that one, only mine may have been smaller..you need tweezers to get the log book in and out of the cache.
happy caching!

Just started tonight in the Erie area and found three. Started at 11:00 PM and ended at 1:00 but overall it was a lot of fun. One of the coolest ideas I've ever heard of and experienced.

Congrats on #50!! I can still remember my 50th cache around 3 1/2 years ago. Now I have over 2100 finds to my name and I've had a blast finding them all. Keep on caching!!

Mostly there are worthless items called swag. We don't look for geocaches for what's in them. It's the hunt. Sometimes there is only a piece of paper or log to sign to show you found it. It's the thrill of the hunt, the outdoors, the finding of new places you'd never have found before, it's getting off our butts and walking into the woods, up mountains, around lakes and streams and in town under you nose. The geocaches are often history related so you learn about places, too.
