From Handel's serio-comic opera, "Serse": Swedish mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg gives a heartfelt, sympathetic performance as Arsamene, downtrodden brother of tyrannical King Serse (American mezzo-soprano Paula Rasmussen).
Told by Serse that Romilda (Arsamene's true beloved, unknown to Serse) has accepted his offer to be his queen, and that he (Arsamene) can now marry "the woman he really loves", Atalanta (Romilda's scheming sister), the frustrated Arsamene responds to these surprising developments with this aria of anger and frustration - "I want her, and I shall have her!". Watch and hear a remarkable rendition of this aria by Hallenberg.
With Christophe Rousset directing Les Talens Lyriques.
From the Dresden Musikfestspiele 2000.

Esta hermoso, de hecho es cagadísimo cuando quieren mantenerse quietas para cantar. No parece haber errores, y ellas cantan hermoso. Lastima que no haya subtítulos. Bellíssimo!
