its because these dont make for a good news story and are usually ignored by the media in favor of the rare videos of the handful of douche cops being douches. most people have an irrational hatred of cops because the only videos people ever see of them are the douche cops being douches. who wants to see video of a cop being a normal nice guy right? if all you see is corruption all you know is corruption. news media only cares about ratings and ignores what doesnt get them.
