This is actual, recorded game play from an original Computer Space arcade game. This was the 1st commercial video arcade game (1971), pre-dating even, "Pong." It was created by Nolan Bushnell who went on to start Atari.

  • The first video game EVER

  • You're meant to destroy as many flying saucers as you can before the time alloted expires.

If, when time runs out, your score exceeds that of the saucer's score, you go into "hyperspace" mode. The screen is inverted, giving you extended play.

  • @johnnyrckt first video game was space war, 1961
