I remember this from the radio in my childhood.
I wish I could 'like ' it a million times.

I'm sure that The Chameleons, and particulaly Mark Burgess, are the equivelent of being the Vincent Van Gogh of their day. Not appreciated or recognised when they were around, but one day will be well sort after. In my opinion, some of the best music ever recorded. How it is possible to put so much feeling and emotion into something like this is hard to imagine. Like a fine wine, it just gets better with time. Thank you for the music guys! Long Live The Chameleons!

Brilliant band, probably the best I've ever seen, and in Mark Burgess a poet capable of genius:
Knuckle walking animals
Are swaggering and spilling their anger
And they're almost walking upright
As they try to ape the madmen around them
Could have been penned by Ted Hughes.

so thats where the late Micheal Jackson got his whoo hooo from.

Make a point to find the other songs on this 4 -song 12" TONY FLETHCER WALKED ON WATER -- they're all great....part of the record that would've come after STRANGE TIMES as I understand it.

this song is one of those when you feel happy once you've listened to it, and then you want to experience the same happiness over and over again by repeating it, THUMBS UP FOR THE GREATEST BAND IN HISTORY!

I'm 14, the music of today is a load of crap compared to the 80's, I discovered them 2 months ago,
there is no description to how beautiful this song is, If this band had been discovered by anyone, they would have been considered the greatest bands ever, so criminally under-rated
Again - its happened again. Thinking I knew every chameleons song, and I suddenly hear this. Its an absolute classic. Fucking hats off, again.. and again. Superb.
