Ethanol could be a possible replacement for petrol based jet fuel, though considering that fossil fuels have a major role in agriculture, it doesn't seem likely that we will see them disappear after fusion becomes practical. Also, products ranging from plastic bottles, to pharmaceuticals, to lubricants, are all made from petroleum based derivatives.
