If you get a home warranty, DO NOT get American Home Shield. They are a scam and a fraud. Save yourself the money and hassle. Don't take my word for it. Google it, and read the many cases of people who have been screwed by this company. I am only one of many.

the problem is with crappy built FISHER & PAYKEL DISHDRAWER. i used to sub-contract from appliance service company who worked with AHS, because i had alot of experience working on all F&P appliances. BECAUSE THERE WERE SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH ELECTRONICS & OTHER PARTS- CAUSING THEM TO LEAK- ALL THOSE PARTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED!!!! i can understand AHS not wanting to pay the ridiculous charges necessary to repair these POS. THERE ISNT ANOTHER APPLIANCE ON MARKET AS BAD AS DISHDRAWER

Stop being cheap asses people. Hire a licensed contractor and get it done right.

They are ok about appliances but when it comes to the big ticket items like the AC or Furnace then they suck.. So if you are OK with paying $500 and a $50 svc call to fix your fridge, dishwasher, electric stove then its for you. Unfortunately , we all don't have all the time in the world to learn how to fix each of these items and that is what they're counting on.
