International troops in Afghanistan celebrated Christmas Eve on Monday in Kabul with a special Christmas meal and a candlelight service. US and other NATO country soldiers based at Kabul International Airport also sang Christmas carols. (Dec. 24)

NATO's actions are in no way justified. However, if they don't oppress the Muslims as they do, the opposing militants would take control of us instead. The reason why we can live in a society with such order and peace is because our government protects us from other militants. Without our armies stomping on other nations, we would be stomped by other nations. Stomp or be stomped is the way of the world. European history taught us this human behavior. Our military both oppress and protects us.

Most Islamic countries, the ones whose hegemony isn't being supported by US foreign aid, don't even have Air forces/Navy's that can get here. Most cant even make enough gasoline for themselves and you think they care about what we are doing 6000 miles away?
