  • There is no two state solution because there is no land left for a Palestinian state. Israeli settlements exist throughout the West Bank, and Israel will not withdraw. Therefore, there is no land left to create a state for the Palestinians.

  • @gahgeer: Agreed. American pols could stand up to the Zionists but why cause waves and upset their comfortable life of privilege. If we had any real patriots in the Congress, the Israeli crime family would be dismantled in a heartbeat.

  • @Uncle99B It's true. But my point was on who applied pressure on Israel. Greetings.

  • @gahgeer And George Bush was shortly thereafter defeated in his try for a second term, replaced by a very Israel friendly Bill Clinton

  • well, I cannot judge the influence of AIPAC (say, as compared to that of American/internatl. Banksters, Inc., or Big Mass Media united), but *something* very much seems to make the U$A, and specifically B.O., too, brownnose and bootlick IsraHell('s P.M.) -- And reporting on IsraHell-matters in MassMedia undoubtedly is (extremely) slanted (in USA and to only a slightly smaller extent in EU also)

  • And therein lies the problem, the situation has metastasized with years and years of lies and half-truths. How much longer is the world willing to endure this spectacle of wanton cruelty toward the Palestinians? Public opinion is a fickle thing and people's capacity for swallowing an illusion or engaging in self-delusion will be continue to be the hallmark for many years to come.

  • Thanks for the interview. Although I disagree with one part regarding US presidents taking action on Israel. As we know, G. Bush Sr. froze the guarantees of loans to Israel in early 1990s to force the then Likud government to come to the Madrid peace conference. Regards, G.
