  • The origin of Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a cattle dog in Wales,England. To prevent tail is stepped on by cattle while corgi driving cattle in the pasture, tail was cut off.

    It is meaningless today as a pet, but this traditional custom remains and many people recognizes corgi is the dog without tail(^^;

  • True apart from one very important fact,

    Wales is not in England; it is a separate country within the United Kingdom.

  • Oops, thanks to point out my mistake.Yes, the United Kingdom is made up of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

    Honesty as a Japanese, it seems to me that Wales is less familiar country than others as well as Union Jack is composed of only England, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

  • No worries, its all cool...

    We may not be on the Union Jack, but we have Y Ddraig Goch, the Red Dragon Flag, its a much cooler design than the other flags which are just crosses.
