i've got the same year as you, the genII, its an amazing car and can pretty much stand up to what a city-goer has to deal with... driving in new york city is a big deal when you consider how bad the roads have become... yet my rav4 can still hold its own when we go camping in the middle of nowhere

The RAV4 is very competent in the snow and mud for being a small SUV. Hell a Range Rover can get stuck in less than a foot of snow. lol
