The dead floating had to do with the hurricane & the army corp of engineers not doing their job. Clinton or Bush could not have stopped that. Bush could have done a lot more in the aftermath. Who has gone to jail for not making sure the levees would hold up against an inevitable disaster?

@oshmunnies Yes I can tell Bill was rolling his eyes the whole time. Tucker really didn't like Bush OR McCain politically. So he's not a dumbass. Just naive at times that conservative values are always the way. That's clearly not true. Progressive views are often for the better of America: gay rights, legalizing drugs, gambling, prostution, getting rid of smoking bans, universal healthcare, not policing the world, etc. Do you agree?

Bill is wearing a hair shirt for people he could never live next door to. And if he had to spend years living next to them, he'd be telling mean jokes about the hurricane being an "act of God" and that anyone, not just fema, would drag their feet to help those primitives.

@thekillerkiss Very fine, factually accurate post, and a dead on balls accurate analogy, if you will. Katrina was days out as you post and was not like we woke up a la 9/11 on "holy shit!" Shit for brains bush was out cutting birthday cake with mccain and playing a guitar for 4 days post Katrina. He had a history of ignoring obvious warnings, and can't remember about the Aug. 6th memo et al. that Richard Clarke was damn near beating his staff with like a puppy that shit on the carpet.
