Test of Lumix DMC-FS3's video mode

This is now a higher quality video from the previous posted video.

This small digital Panasonic Lumix camera produces very nice videos in both 4:3 and 16:9 sizes. For high quality YouTube video, size setting is is 864x486 (the actual camera's image size is 848 x 480 at the 16:9 ratio). You can shoot at 30 fps, and this YouTube compressed video is at 30fps. Stills can be 4:30 and also 3:2 ratio (35mm size ratio, remember film???)

This camera has 3x optical zoom, but you cannot zoom in and out while videotaping. Many shots here feature the Macro focusing, very close.

Nice little camera I bought for $129 at Newegg, and have seen it sold recently for as little as $90! High cute factor with the blue color! ;-)

How do i save videos from my Lumix DMC-Fs3 digital camera to my computer? and keep all of the video footage

@killjoy2647 you take out the SD card, us a USB card reader of some sort... and transfer it over just like any other file.

The camera is now passed along to another, but I believe it also came with a usb cord so you can transfer over files that way.

@grindcorenl Man video editing programs edit .mov files. What were you using, windows Movie Maker. There are also many video converter programs. Hey, with imovie you can't edit wmv I don't think...it is a nifty little camera, but now use the ZS3 which has hd and zooming while filming. I use this for multi camera work...or will when I have freedom to do a concert. I am ft caregiver and not free to do gigs. But have equip...

No, you cannot zoom while filming. Think I mentioned that on the video. Still cameras are just now offering this feature, but sometimes the lens zoom noise is picked up by the mic. The Lumix TX5 (HD with 720) is recent camera that allows zooming while videotaping. Have a feeling other P&S cameras will offer this too. This also has 10x optical zoom.
