This is a series in which I try to reproduce my mother's recipes from Brazil, in less than 1h, and on my student budget and student home space. I am a PhD student, trying to learn things that help me recharge after a stressful busy day, such as cooking. I hope to inspire other beginners and beginners to be, and create a forum to share experiences.

Most of all, I hope to bring some Brazilian flair to all my friends and viewers!

  • So fun and while I have 3 adults and 3 children in the house I don't fear bacon going bad I actually do the same thing with it because it makes it easier to slice for cooking. Looks awesome. Love the new channel such a great idea splitting up the sewing from the cooking. Have a great day! :)

  • @opallb Right on, I hate trying to cut through raw bacon, but I always wondered if I just don't have the right knives! :) we just had the hot dogs left overs today, and they tasted even better with the sauce more saturated by the veggies. Thank you so much for keep cheering me up with your positive feedback.

  • mam it was ok.are you a proffesional chef?i done 2 years @ college being a chef.that person with the stuffed toy kind of spoiled the video.but hey.

  • @250cosmic I have minimal experience cooking, I am just trying to document my journey stealing my mother's recipes and trying to make do on my small space and budget. I thought other people with no experience and limited resources may feel encouraged to give cooking a try as well. I'm going for "if I can do this you can too", not "here is how it's done". And I encourage people to share, post tips of what I could have done better, or how they did when they tried, so that we all learn together.

  • Great! I would just add "batata palha", tabasco and corn. =)

    Cameraman was hungry... So funny!

  • @cristianeamesquita BTW, I hope you know that you are the Brazilian friend I was talking about!! :)

  • Super! Just like Brasil and you're muito bontia too!

  • luv the this idea, i can eat this without the bun now lol....i love the cutting boards by the way

  • @cristianeamesquita Hmmm, I forgot the potato sticks!! I used to buy them in Georgia, I never tried to find them here in Canada. I had mentioned the corn in the video, but I cut some parts because it was too long for something so simple! :) Thanks for the chance to adding some details!!!!!
